Research into Title Sequences

Before we created our own title sequence for our film, we decided to do some research and look at other films title sequences to be able to get ideas for our own. One film that we looked at is "The Avengers" and we watched the title sequences for this. This is a screenshot of just a few scenes from the title sequence. The title sequence is used to introduce the main actors and the main people who make the film (director, author, editor etc). The title sequence in Avengers does this as seen above. It also gives the audience a look at some of the props that will be used in the film. For example, the iron man suit will be used in the film and this is seen in the 4th picture. Also, the writing is quite small but in a good clear font which is easy to use which we will be likely to use in our film. We feel that doing research on title sequences will help us with our own when we come to do it.
